Which is worse?

Overpopulation, climate change or both?

The world population has in less than 100 years, 4 folded... We are now almost 7,000,000,000 earthlings, increasing to 9,000,000,000 it is estimated by 2050! All of us needing "Lebensraum", water, food, a roof over our head, education, a job, medical attention...

The majority is poor and is bound to become even poorer. Too poor even to rebel or fight.

Nature knows how to keep its numbers in check but, Homo Sapiens has and continues to interfere in the workings of nature.

We have dug zillion tons of minerals, oil and gaz out of the earth. This has created empty pockets in the earth. To add insult to injury, we have build heavy structures upon a limited area and changed the weight distribution points of the planet. We are daily exploding the earth crust to extract even more minerals.
Not to forget of course the atomic bombs that we exploded above and underground...

And then there is the constant, 24/7/365 unbalance that we add to the environment with our "mode de vie" and destroy earth's protective shield from harmful sunrays.

And nature will never react? Never explode?

Sure it will, when the proverbial drop will overflow the bucket and then, when it will ... it will be sheer hell! Hopefully I won't be around!
