Forty years ago in South Africa, a note (money) carried the following promise:
I promise to pay in Pretoria in Gold (Signed Governor of the Reserve Bank).
It changed later to: I promise to pay in Pretoria(Signed Governor of the Reserve Bank). Note it does not say "what".
Now? No promise, just a signature.
To-morrow? No more money, just a figure in a computer...
Easier to control and manipulate!
And people will just dance to the whistle...
